How can I practice French and review for quizzes and tests at home?

If you have access to the Internet, you can do grammar and vocabulary exercises online.  The French textbooks have a nice website with exercises, self-quizzes and flashcards.  Here’s what you do:

1.     Go to http://www.mcdougallittell.com

2.     Click on the World Languages tab at the top of the page

3.     Click on the French in the subject area section on the left.

4.     Click on your level of French (bleu, blanc, or rouge)

5.     Click on ClassZone: companion website.

6.     Scroll down and click on the unit you’d like to work on.

7.     Here you’ll find A votre tour activities and self-quizzes, as well as the vocab flashcards.

The flashcards are particularly helpful because you can go through them in English to French or French to English.  If you have speakers on your computer, you can also hear how the words are pronounced.

There are also other websites that have French grammar activities.  The website above, however, is in alignment with our textbook, which is very helpful.
